One of the hardest parts of affiliate marketing is coming up with great content that gets people to click the link. So, I came up with some content ideas you can use to drive traffic to your affiliate links.
I also broke it down into three different niches! If your niche isn't on this list, think about how you can adapt an idea for your niche.
🏋🏻 Health & Fitness
Green smoothies and juicing are all over the place right now! And I know some of you even sell supplements for in smoothies.
What if instead of just sharing that same old selfie with your smoothie, you broke down the recipe you used plus all of the tools needed to make the smoothie?
If you sign up for Amazon's affiliate program you can link out to your favorite blender, juicer, set of knives, or portable cups!
Side note... did you know that you can be an affiliate for Beachbody without having to be a coach? So if you've been loving PiYo but aren't about that direct sales life, you can still get a commission recommending their workout classes and products.
💋 Essential Oils and Makeup
Tutorials come to mind immediately when I think of both essential oils and makeup! If you're in an MLM this is a great way for you stand out from the crowd.
I dabbled in being a YL rep for a minute and what I found most success with was actually demonstrating how to use the oils and mix the oils for different uses, like DIY sunscreen or how I used essential oils in DIY sea salt hair spray.
The same totally applies for makeup. I know I go watch a tutorial every single time I try to contour my face.
Now what if besides just selling the actual products you also curated all the tools you used. For essential oils it could be rollerballs and coconut oil. For makeup it could be brushes and brush shampoo!
💃🏻 Style & Clothing
The best content you guys can do here... style guides!
I love those articles in magazines where they take like 10 pieces of clothing and accessories then mix and match them for a month's work of looks. If you sell clothing, use affiliate links to your favorite jewelry sites or vice versa. Can you give that a try?
What about a post all about how you organize your closet for easy styling? Include links to your favorite hangers, shoe racks, etc.
Did you know that even Ikea has an affiliate program? You could put together your ideal closet organization plan and send people to Ikea via your link.
Did this spark some creative ideas for you? If it did, let me know in the comments or on twitter! I'd love to hear your ideas. 😘
