Time is a valuable resource as an entrepreneur and even more so if you're a mompreneur working from home. Trying to wrangle kids is a full time job and adding a business into that can make things...challenging (to say the least!). So here are some of my biggest Mompreneur Confessions.
Sometimes ya just do what ya gotta go to get shit done. So, I thought I'd share with you six mompreneur confessions of some not-so-virtuous tactics I’ve used to keep my toddler busy while I work.
I let her play with my phone for hours sometimes so I can finish my work.
I take her for rides in the car to put her to sleep so I can listen to business podcasts.
I’ve breastfed during live streams on Facebook and Periscope.
I give her chocolate so I can just have five more minutes to work.
I nap during time I’m supposed to be working because she kept me up all night.
I accidentally let her fall off our back porch while doing a live stream.
Now I'd love to hear from you! What are your momprenuer confessions? Hit reply to this email and let me know, or tweet me @morganbattista.
Wishing you peaceful nights and happy days free from tantrums.
I've been giving some thought to why some mompreneurs are struggling with online marketing, why the term "mompreneur" gets a bad rep, and how we can bust some the myths floating around out there about mompreneurs.
Ready for me to get a little ranty??? Yeah?! Good. Cause I want to start with a bit of a rant.

While meditating I had a vision. I was in the eye of a storm. All around the wind was blowing, people were fighting, the earth itself felt like it was twisting around me. Then it quickly stopped. And all those around me fighting now looked up at me as I stood on a rocky hill. Then they bowed down to me.
I immediately felt uncomfortable. I thought, “Why is my subconscious telling me I want to be powerful like this? I don’t need people’s adoration. I don’t need people to bow down to me.”
Then this little thought in my mind popped up. It said, “Why do you resist power? There is nothing wrong with wanting people to bow down to you. For people must follow you and show you deference in order for them to believe and trust in your message. Power is not good nor bad. It just is. It is a tool to be used by you for the good.”

Summer is here! Are you excited? Are you already thinking of all the fun things you can do? Or perhaps your kids have told you what they WANT to do. Do they want to go camping, go to the beach, see all the action movies that will come out, or do they long for days of sleeping in and staying up late? I bet they welcome the slower pace of summer compared to the hectic days during the school year.
What about you? Do you have the next 12 weeks already planned or are you still figuring out what to do?
There are so many options when choosing which email service provider to go with, but for many bloggers and new online entrepreneurs, the questions comes down to ConvertKit vs. MailChimp.
In this video I take you behind the scenes on each platform and show you the pros/cons of each.
I am not the most organized mom by far, but it became really clear that if I ever wanted to be able to sit at my desk and get work done I needed a plan. I had to figure out how to keep my toddler busy while I worked.
Let's be honest. Sometimes being a mom just sucks. We are supposed to act like this is the best thing that ever happened to us and we are #blessed, and yeah we are... but.
There's the but. Some days are rough. I wrote this on one of those rough days, and thought there's gotta be some moms out there who can relate, right?
Nausea, exhaustion, back pain. These are just some of the lovely symptoms of pregnancy. The first trimester can be brutal, and I know from experience! I just officially crossed into the second trimester of my second pregnancy and I wanted to share with you my first trimester survival list. The items that were essential to me making it through the last 12 weeks with my sanity marginally in tact.
